Isabel Hills
Isabel Hills began her martial arts journey at Arte Suave in 2017, when she was just 8 years old. Her adventure in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) started alongside her father and brother, marking the beginning of a path filled with learning, discipline, and growth. Isabel’s dedication to BJJ saw her transition from the youthful ranks of Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, where she attained a green belt, to the dynamic world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where she currently holds a yellow belt and participates in both kids and adult classes.
Isabel officially joined the Arte Suave family as an assistant on the 15th of June, 2023, bringing her enthusiasm for martial arts and commitment to fitness into her role. Her passion for sports extends beyond the mats to sport aerobics, showcasing her diverse athletic skills. Additionally, Isabel enjoys running, which complements her training in BJJ, enhancing her stamina and endurance.
In her BJJ journey, Isabel appreciates the multifaceted nature of the sport – the thrill of rolling, the satisfaction of mastering new techniques, and the undeniable benefit to overall fitness. Her early exposure to Japanese Jiu-Jitsu laid a strong foundation, enabling her to adapt to the nuances of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with agility and understanding.
Isabel’s story is one of continuous exploration and enjoyment in martial arts. From a young age, she has embraced the challenges and rewards of training, finding joy in both personal achievements and the shared journey with her Arte Suave family.
