Meet Ruby, a passionate Jiu Jitsu practitioner and valued gym assistant at ArteSuave. Since the age of 7, Ruby has been immersed in the world of martial arts, beginning her journey at ArteSuave. With a desire for an after-school activity and the goal of learning self-defense, Jiu Jitsu became her calling.

After dedicating herself to children’s classes for 7 years, Ruby recently made the exciting transition to adult classes in 2022. Her commitment and perseverance led her to achieve the esteemed rank of yellow/black belt in Jiu Jitsu by June 2023, a testament to her dedication.

Beyond her achievements on the mats, Ruby’s dream of working at ArteSuave came true in 2022. Since her first encounter with the gym in 2015, she had envisioned being part of its vibrant community. Now, she finds herself in a position where her passion aligns with her work, creating a fulfilling and unique experience.

Working at ArteSuave has provided Ruby with invaluable experiences and relationships that extend beyond training sessions. It has become her second home, a place where she can continue to grow and contribute to the gym she loves. Ruby is excited to spend many more years at ArteSuave, sharing her knowledge and inspiring others to embark on their own Jiu Jitsu journeys.

Very welcoming club for training! Solid rolls🤜🫷Emanuela is the owner who always goes above and beyond to help and has created a great environment for BJJ students! 🙏Anker is a very patient and technically proficient coach. 🙏Uroš is a very approachable coach when it comes to BJJ (don't let his size scare you) and his BJJ literacy is exceptional! 🙏Great culture and good peeps. I feel very comfortable when I am the only lady there. The gents are very welcoming! 😎The facilities are great.Happy rolling!

been doing JuJu at ArteSuave for over a year. The owner and instructors are very approachable and very experienced. This gym is great to enjoy as recreation but also serves the more serious contenders. I have been choked out by many gladiators from this gym both men and women, but always gone home with a smile and feeling better for training Jiujitsu. If you haven't done grappling this is the gym for you, if you are experienced and want to sharpen your skills this is also the gym for you. Very welcoming when dropping by for open mat Sunday session.Witnessed coach Sergio lead the tail end of a session.. implementing incredible technique in 'king of the mats' and then finished with a closed eyed meditative drop in, followed by a circle and discussion.love this and look forward to dropping by again soonGreat atmosphere hereOos!
